A Cloud Computing Model as Service Oriented Architecture

This presentation discusses cloud computing from the evolution path of enterprise architecture and service oriented architecture perspective, and relates a full-spectrum cloud computing model with the service oriented architecture. Also, it associates cloud computing models with the prior-arts and the evolution path. It fits the cloud computing effort into the current trend of the new generation IT operating model, with related business impact. While cloud computing is contributing to the enterprise evolution towards shared services, appropriate business management and operation mechanisms must be in place in order to practice successfully, e.g. suitable business models, service models, service structure, funding models, operation models, operation structure, lifecycle and governance.
